           THIS PREVIEW DISK IS NOT PLACED IN THE PUBLIC DOMAIN  
             BUT MAY BE FREELY DISTRIBUTED AT NORMAL PD RATES. 

 SMARTYPAINTS  (the fully working program) is licensed for use within one 
household only. Copies of the disk are authorised for backup purposes and
for use  within  the  family.  Licenses for larger establishments  are by 
individual agreement, with  favourable concessions  available  for worthy 
causes!!  No material, printed or otherwise,  included  with this program 
may be reproduced in whole or part without the permission of CHROMA. 
  Although this software has been tested on various systems,and every care 
has been taken  to ensure that it works correctly,  no implication is made 
as to it's suitability or lack of error.
 The author / publisher cannot  be held legally responsible  for errors or 
omissions  in the manual  or software.  Please report any errors found  to

interesting facilities.
     .......is to be able to customize the same art program for children of
different ages or abilities.
    .......is for the child to be able to see what's been selected,just by
looking at the menu (ie. no hidden,drop-down or sub-menus)
    .......is for YOU to be in control,able to deny access to facilities with
a series of lockable options.
    .......is for EACH of your kids to have their own customised copy of the
program.

Flip to WORKBENCH from Main menu......"HELP key / ORANGE screen button"
Flip to SMARTYPAINTS from Workbench..."Left AMIGA key / A"

                  KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS -if menu is unlocked
  (The same letters as that adults' package - you know,that very famous one 
           with the funny little square icon thingies down the side.)

To configure SMARTYPAINTS for your child.......
  Click on "CLEAR S.MENU" with the LEFT mouse button.
  Click (left mouse) on all the BLUE function buttons displayed at the top 
of the main menu screen, from BOTTOM RIGHT to TOP LEFT (in order), until 
there is only the "MAIN MENU" button remaining, if you wish.
  Click on "CLEAR S.MENU" again, with the LEFT mouse button.
  Click on "STACK S.MENU".
  Click on the MAIN MENU functions you wish to incorporate into the SMART 
menu (the light grey buttons are the ones you can include), in the order in
which you want them to appear.
 Click on "STACK S.MENU" again.
You can now save the configuration to disk if you wish,but if you alter your
PIN number,you should write it down somewhere first!
