Chryseis cruncher ================= THIS IS THE SECOND BETA RELEASE VERSION .... No change in the proggy itself, but news for the legal environment ... This program is using the same algorithm as PowerPacker®, but the algorithms themselves are not pattented, unlike other LZH and others. So ... big thanks to Nico François for using a not-pattented algorithm ;-) Anyway, I made other tries with better algorithms ... better results but sh*t, all these algorithms are pattented in the United States. Next version will include another non-pattented algrithm, as I plan to use some code from CrunchMania (®© Thomas Schwartz). I need to get in touch with Thomas for that, but he doesn't seem to have an Email address. The GUI is also on it's way ...
