Alright! I got you to read this! The image you just downloaded was modeled, designed and rendered in the superb 3D package Real 3D (v.2.49). It took me about an hour and a half to design and model the ship, and then an overnight to render it at medium anti-aliasing with FULL raytracing (none of that fakey, scanlined, shadow-mapped, done it ten minutes, CRAP!). All work was done on an Amiga 3000/'030 with 10 megs ram and the 24-bit image was not post- processed. Though the image is freely distributable (provided that you LIKE it (: ), but I would prefer it if this archive was the only one to circulate. But since you can do whatever the hell you want with it and no one is likely to notice, this is just taking up space. (-8 Oh, and the image and design are copyrighted © 1995 Maxim Savic, all rights reserved. You may not alter the image (except to maybe add a lens flare ((-; ) or use it for any purpose except for private viewing (or showing all your friends what a COOL image it is ((-; ). It is certainly not for use in any commercial production, XXX movie house, or episode of Babylon 5. (: You may, however, use the image as part of a gallery or showcase pictorial, PROVIDED that you contact me and receive my approval. You may also re-size the picture to your own personal tastes. If you have any other ideas that you think I might like, give me a ring. As always, I appreciate and welcome any sort of commentary (good, bad, Monty Python-ish (-8 ) or criticism for this, or any other of my 24-bit renders. Futhermore, I'm always on the look-out for interesting things to design and render (I don't do lamps, mice, or pencils--sorry.), so if you have an idea that you think would be great to visualize, let me know. You can contact me via these methods (email, as always, is fastest, easiest, best, and is guarenteed a response ;-) ) : email at: msavic@chat.carleton.ca snailmail at: Maxim Savic 464 East Avenue Kitchener, Ontario, CANADA (I'm a Canuck, eh?)
