Subscribing

To subscribe to one of the mailinglists, just enter your email-adress and click on subscribe.

If it worked, you'll receive a confirmation, that you have to reply to. This is required, because noone else should be able to subscribe your email-adress to a mailinglist.

What are the two lists for?

The discussion list is intended for a general discussion of WBStars and related topics. As the List has just been set up, i cannot say how much traffic there will be (if any). If you are a bit interested in WBStars, just try it out, maybe you've even something to say, and will not only listen, to what others may have to say.

If you don't want to receive mails written by other users of WBStars, but you want to be informed, if there's something new on WBStars, you can subscribe to the news-list. As i don't have much time for WBStars at the moment, it's unlikely, that there'll be more than about one email every 2-3 months.

I will also post all news-emails to the discussion-list, so you do not need to subscribe to both lists. (only if you want to recieve all news-mails twice ;-).

How do the lists work?

The lists are provided by www.coollist.com. There a some help-texts on their pages, too.

To post a message to the discussion-list, just send it to wbstars@coollist.com. Please note, that your "from:" address has to be the one, you subscribed to the list, because the list-program does only accept messages from adresses, that are subscribed to the list.

Unsubscribing

Unsubscribing is just as easy as subscribing:
Select the list, you are subscribed to, enter your email-address and click on "unsubscribe". You'll then receive a confirmation, describing the steps, that you'll have to do, to really unbsubscribe.
