To take fully advantage of GIFComposer you will need
some extra software. First of all you'll need a program
that you can draw pictures with, like Deluxe paint or
Persional paint. It is a plus if they can save pictures
as GIF, or else you will need a Grafics-converter too.
You may also use Deluxe paint's built-in animation features
to create an animation, you must save it as several IFF-pictures
though (I'm working on some scripts and stuff to automate
such things). You can also use a 3d rendering program
which often have animation-support, but save as IFF pics
if the program doesn't support GIF's.
To view pictures from GIFComposer you want to have some
kind of Picture-viewer, ViewTek or Visage are good for this,
Multiview (part of Workbench 3.x) may also be used.
You may also want to view the finished animation when
it's created. To do this there exists one program called
XAnim, it's the only program I know that can show
GIF-animations. On Aminet there exists several versions
of XAnim. Some needs ixemul.library and some don't.
I use the XAnim that I have listed here, it doesn't need
ixemul.library. |
