Subject:[D5] Re: Shortened shown filenames

Hello Niels,

today I´m back on this thread, to give you infos:

Okay, filenames shortened in the same way, after I made a new
drive-setup. There was a fault, but it doesn´t matter to my
problem... :-(

But I´found that the filetypes didn´t recognized, because DOpus was
searching for versions of the files put to my MP3-directory. Who is
working with this feature of DOpus knows how long this takes time on
big files like MP3 ;-) Snoopdos did :) and shows working, working
working working.... slow and never ending. So Dopus was still busy!

Seems also, OpusMPEGA was touched. Removed and new installed now the
filetypes are recognized in the MP3-directory (disabled: version).
But SOME MP3.files still not recognized by the OpusMPEGA-filetypes.

Different handling of MP3-files with or without comments is gone
(but the effect was reproduceable!!! Mystery!).

Bad combination of faults, but one stays: Shortened filenames.

Info to Neil Bothwick: Does your Arexx ClearListerCache.dopus5 only
work with Hotlist.module? It really doesn´t work here...

So far...

Bye,
