OK, just testing 1.2, and it is v.quick indeed, compared to even ArcDir.
It's a nice efficient package (DOpus modules are so cool, the way they slot
in without a reboot).
The lack of a facility to add files to an archive is a bit of a downer
though, as I use this a lot with lha and lzx archives. I wonder if it can
be implemented? I'm not sure if I'll install it for good yet...but perhaps
I could install it for all formats apart from lha/lzx and leave that to the
venerable ArcDir.
I found that it handles adf files with a big increase of speed over
ArcHandlerEX (basically regular lister speed!), but fails with dms, you
just get the empty lister.
Another reason not to install it is that Dave has been real helpful with
advice on this list asnd has supplied me with excellent actions for opening
tar.gz and other crunched archive formats, and I don't know if I can set up
the same actions using this DOpus Module. If I can do this and read dms,
then I'll probably install it :)
