The problem is that there IS a window open on the WB screen...
Having it open is what the problem is, sure, I could start it from
the WBStartup or do a delay to wait for the wb to load,
but the point is, I don't want to have a program that has
"special needs", I want it to work flawlessly every time
on all latest OS versions.
The other problem is the fact that when you modify the prefs
& the system tries to refresh everything, you get the message:
/Intuition is trying to close windows, etc....../ Thing...
So, loosing the window seems the best way to fix everything
but I need to get the global DISKINSERTED / DISKREMOVED
messages from intuition, but I don't know how to do that without
having a window open ??
