The installer script for AmigaOS 3.5 installs the AmigaOS 3.5
*update*. Thus it only installs the files that are new with AmigaOS
3.5.
You have to make sure that AmigaOS 3.1 is *properly* installed before
as that is the requirement to run AmigaOS 3.5 - this is stated
clearly. To do so you can use the copy of AmigaOS 3.1 that you can
find on your AmigaOS 3.5 CD-ROM.
Yes, and we know that the installer script may have some problems on
some configuration and some bugs as well. It is a quite complex script
and it is very difficult to test it in all situations.
