| Subject: | AOS35: Amiga Hardware: What happened to Akiko |
I remember a chip called Akiko which did chunky to
planer conversion in hardware(on cd32) and was
extrememly fast at it. I just wonder what the games
would of been like if it had been utilized better. It
would certainly allow for 3d type games
calculations(chunky to planer) to be done faster and
so they would of been better. Some one could of
created the games available on the Sega Saturn for the
Amiga via use of the chip? What do others think?
