Random comments...

I admit it, I'm using it on my peecee now :-) I've been spending a lot of
time working with and around this project, and one thing I want to interject
here is that the Salon article (and subsequent /. discussion) in many ways
miss the point. Since not everyone here reads the discussions on /. or has
followed through and _read_ the full 'score' of what Mojo Nation is about
(though Zoltan's comments are much more lucid and enlightened than the
average /.-er).

Mojo Nation is NOT a file sharing network like Napster or Bookster or
Gnutella. You don't actually get credit for uploading illegal MP3's. (in
fact, you pay someone else to store the file for you). The CPU sharing
concepts have not been bolted on. And finally ... it is STILL very, very
beta. We got a lot of /.ers get the client and immediately complain about a
number of things centering around the above three comments, so ... if you
want to check it out, it is, like Amiga, a work in progress. It is also very
cool, also very open-sourced so anyone that might want to make it work under
Amiga should be able to do what they need to do once a Python port exists
for Amiga. Hell, it might work under Classic Amiga with a little work ...
:-)
