Let's say you made a system for copying amiga software between people.
Let's say you first touted it as a free way of getting the latest, best
software for the Amiga. You employ more than 40 people.
Then the programmers start bitching, and you tout it as a way for promoting new
unknown artists, and threathen people who use it for illegal copying, but just
to please the commercial software distributors.

The music market is big, I know. And the big labels make big bucks on the
Beatles, Britney Spears and *Nsync, and you hate it.

Now there's lots of programs comming out to take over for Napster. Piracy will
always be here, but Napster is a perverted form of Microsoft®! (They have
learned to stay away from altering the work of others as Microsoft have done.
If Microsoft just had passed on their stolen software, Windoze would be soo
much better.)

Of course, if a "Big Brother" system is implemented it would be a civil rights
matter. But in the Napster case it's a matter of teenage lamers (who think
Windoze is great and love bashing the Amiga) versus the musicians.

Make up your mind, and PLEASE find a newsgroup about the subject. AMIGEN and
AOS35 are collectively giving me well over 100 email a day. (Good to have a free
ethernet link then, others might not be so fortunate.)

If you have to reply please include OFF TOPIC FLAMEBAIT in the subject line :-(
