Yes, you're right.
Actually this same feature should also be possible with the AccelleraPCI and
other similar cards, but since traditional operating systems only supported
one processor, these cards and their drivers at the moment just shift all the
work to the new faster processor, and degrade the original CPU to a mere
interrupt controller for the other.
This could be treated in a more advanced way in the Amiga DE. In fact I had
hoped that someting like this would sooner or later appear on the scene.
Have you developed such a product? Can you tell more about your background,
like are you an electronic engineer or do you run a hardware manufacturing
comapny?
