My standard answer(funny, I just wrote this same thing a few minutes ago to
(I hope) to a different list)- Delitracker 2.27 with Mpeg genie. It's not
beautiful unless you use some screen promoter thing for it, but this lack
of extra overhead makes it very usable on my 040. The added bonus is that
you end up with a player that plays about 90% of the music and sound
formats out there. Only thing I think it has problems with is compressed
wavs. AFAIK, only Play16 can handle the compressed ones and then you can
use some tricks in Play16 to uncompress them. I also believe that Amster
uses Delitracker as the default player(unless I changed it and just
forgot).
