This could be tested by recording 2 disks at 2 speeds, then reading the
CDDA files back into the computer and comparing the numbers with those
in the original sound file.
This would be easiest with very short tracks such as instrument samples.
There are Amiga programs that compare binary files.
The effect would partly depend on the drive used for reading - an audio
drive might be more badly affected by a weak recording than a CD-ROM
drive.
