Can't help with that one I'm afraid, I don't have a clue.

Just wait till you start trying to learn either of them :-) Seriously,
though, it is logical that to learn C++, a knowledge of C is helpful. I
wouldn't say essential. I have a book which deals with C and C++ in one go,
which means it doesn't cover the basics of C++ because they are essentially
the basics of C.
A dedicated C++ book will probably tell you everything you need to know
about C++, whereby you won't need to know C, because you would learn
everything about C++.
I've probably confused you even more now. But, what can I say? It's late at
night ;-)

God knows. When will I get a job so I can afford to fix mine, that's the
question I'm asking! :-)

Also, I don't have a clue. I was really hoping there'd have been one this
year, so I could have taken a huge wodge of money to it. Oh well.
Still, if there is a WoA next year, it'll make a great millennium party :-)

I live quite near to North Wales (Shrewsbury, just off the Welsh border) and
I've been wondering the same thing for a while. If you need a hand setting
up your UG, I'll be glad to help provided I can find the time and resources
needed to get there.
Cheers,
GazChap.
