information on this list as long as it is not a blatant plug and
all, and the advise below>

from David, which I consider as friendly advise, and will take to
heart, here's a little more info.
As CS&E as we all know and love decided not to support the Amiga
market any longer, I contacted David to get the right to at least try
and publish whatever Amiga-stuff CS&E already had ready for
distribution. CS&E might leave, but why let some good software, if
they have any, go to waste because of this? Mr. Connolly, not having
any use for Amiga software any longer, granted me the right, and
currently I have all software they had ready for release on the Amiga
here. To be honoust, this consists of the educational program Cosmos
Fun Class. In the next week or two this program will be translated in
German and Dutch as well (not much use for an educational program in
one language only), and the finished product will be put on CD, after
which I (read: I, not David Connolly) will start distributing it,
through German stores first, because I know the people there, and
through UK-outlets / by mail-order through me, depending on whether or
not I can find UK stores willing to sell such a product.
This is not a plug of any kind, just setting the record straight as
far as I / CS&E is concerned.
I have been following the CS&E mud throwing thing on this list, and I
do understand Davids (Stroud) concern about not getting tarred with
the same brush. I will be doing my own thing, as I want to do it. I
think the listmasters here (and everybody else on this list) can
testify that I never made it a habit to flame any company, or even
mention their business practises here, and I don't intend to start
this now. The ex-CS&E program Cosmos fun class is in fact a program my
children like (good indication for an educational program), and trying
to sell it might get my name known by whoever wants to resell it.
For the future: I would like to use my resources to help games
programmers getting their work on the shelves by making fair deals
with them. Any deals I sign will be signed by such devellopers and me,
at no point in dealing with them does David Connolly in the picture.
If nobody signs with me, too bad, I have lost some resources, if some
devellopers sign with me, I might be able to get their games on the
shelves. No promises at all now, because the Amiga market is not as I
would like it to be. I don't think I will make any big money with it
(who are you kidding), I hope I can get back what I invest.
Thanks David Stroud for your advise. This mail got a bit longer than
intended, but I felt I needed to put some things straight. I will
start selling the stuff CS&E originally planned to sell (see above)
since David Connolly doesn't want to do it any longer.
