I believethat there is a Service pack which gives you most, if not all, of
the features of R2. Haven't tried it myself, though...

Before sinking to those depths, have a look at "ppshar" - it's an excellent
piece of s/w which will let your Amiga connect to the net through your Pc.
Alternatively, get hold of "Nearsite" for the Pc; its primary use is for
leeching web sites off the net, but its much more useful than that, and -
more importantly - it can be used to allow other networked computers to
access the net through the Pc that it's installed on.
