Hi

Mr Connolly reckons he's leaving us, but some things sneed responding to...

Yes, lets.

What's that got to do with anything? Besides, it is totally false.

And how much space did the net give Carmageddon? AmigaFlame: One mention of
Carmageddon on 6th May:

"It is unbelievable, but it has been confirmed that Carmageddon, one of the
hottest racing type games ever made is coming to the Amiga.

CS&E announced that they had closed an agreement with Sci to bring violent
racing game Carmageddon to the Amiga. They plan to convert Carmageddon to
the new Amiga system, although they have made it known that Amiga Inc, has
been less than helpful or supportive."

(that sounds just like the Mr. Connolly we all know and love) ;-)

Amiga Active is restricted in size so it has to fill the pages as best it
can. I'm sorry, but *just* an announcement of the *intention* to port a
game from an *unknown* company would not be a high priority for taking up
valuable space. Even more so given the hostility from yourselves to others.
On the other hand, if Hyperion announce a game, we know that they will
deliver.

Have you ever heard of economics? Have you any common sense? *Whatever*
Power an Eyetech pay for their 3 pages, you can guarantee it's going to be a
lot less than for yourselves, or others:

1. They advertise in every issue
2. They pay for 3 pages, which I cant see you wanting/needing

As for offering credit to Alive, who (to quote you:) "did not pay" but not
to yourselves, well perhaps that's the reason why. Once bitten...

> However this is not what's made me go public.

You do seem to enjoy doing that.

Jon

Sorry everyone, but this guy irks me.
