Let's just take a look at a few basic facts.
1) Has CS&E as the largest (statistical fact) games publisher in the
UK been mentioned in Amiga Active? No. Isn't that remotely
suspicious? Would they not have covered Carmageddon if Hyperion or
Epic had given them the news. This is unfair to CS&E. Evidence: all
issues of AA.
2) Eyetech and Power pay just £1,000 for 3 pages of adverts in Amiga
Active yet Hinton requests £1,800 for the same from us. HE OFFERED
CREDIT TO ALIVE MEDIASOFT (who of course didn't pay)and his other
advertisers BUT REFUSED US?!!! This is unfair to CS&E. Evidence: page
52 Issue 14.
However this is not what's made me go public. A couple of days ago
Hinton threatened my terminally ill mother with taking her to court
(she can't remember what for) after sneakily phoning my home during
office hours. This is not only unfair but disreputable, disgusting
and quite the most obnoxious piece of behaviour I've EVER been
subjected to.
I'm not going to take Hinton to court myself because I don't have a
case. It's something I either tell the public or keep quiet. And he's
SO obnoxious that I must tell his customers.
