CRW8824S. I know there's no official
drives" list, but I was told before (here in this ML) that it worked fine.
and then the drive, everything seems ok so far, but then I click on the
"speed" gadget, select "MAX" and then try to begin the test (I'm using a
blank cdr in the drive...) and MasterISO opens a window complaining "cannot
open cd-r/rw drive". The same happens if you try to burn anything. I guess
it should use some kind of standard driver if there's no exact driver match.

Both of these work with MasterISO. Can`t comment on MakeCD.
