Hello
As I've mentioned it is my plan to upgrade my A3000 to graphics card (after
my failed attempt with the CV64 3D) and a 060 processor. I have now worked
out what I want to buy ideally - but I have a few questions about the
products I want to buy - The Cyberstorm Mk. III and the CVision PPC.
I shall be buying second hand, as brand new at £470 and £200 respectively is
waaaaaay too much! (Second hand I'm prepared to pay £400 in all for the two
items) However I have a few questions:
1. I'll need the INT2 line for the CS Mk. III's SCSI to work, do any Amiga
dealers do this as I attempted it, and it failed to work ;(
2. Does the CS Mk. III and CVision PPC fit in the A3000 desktop alright,
because i hope it does - i like the A3000 desktop too much to stuff it in
to some unidentifiable unatractive PC case!
3. Can the CS. Mk. III be overclocked without messing up the gfx. card
slot, scsi chip timing and stuff? I would possibly like to take it to
66MHz with a heatsink and low profile fan. Is this possible (a matter
of replacing the oscillator or is it more involved)
