:-) Cybergraphx itself seems fine, and it's not long since I bought
the boards, and I want a faster PPC board and a CD-writer, so I'm
loathe to spend more money on something I may not need :-) On the
subject though: as CGX 3 works fine for me, what would be the
advantages of buying version 4.1?

I don't think I tried that. But the main issue really is WarpUp
itself, because it's not working for me and I want to use stuff like
the Warp datatypes. They make Multiview's window gadgets go unBirdied
as well, by the way, and then the system locks up. I've probably done
something daft... but then again, I've deleted all WarpUp and
reinstalled it.
