A Quick gestimate of mine would tally to around 350-ish...all Amiga mags.
<sigh> I recall the days when I'd go into town and buy 5 Amiga mags and lose
the next week reading all the details...the days when I'd then pay 100 ukp
for a 1.5Mb upgrade on my A500 to give me 1Mb of ChipRAM...whoah! using
Soundtrakker to the max! ..the days when a 4Mb upgrade on a GVP HD8+ would
set me back 120ukp...but it was well worth it as back then you never needed
more than 8Mb on your Amiga to make it the BEST machine in town. strutting
around with your massive 120Mb SCSI hard-drive...spooling the latest Tobias
Richter animation onto a high-res screen whilst MedPlayer played an
8-channel soundtrack...and this was back in 1990!

the advance in computers during the past decade has bene near to useless.
the only thing we've seen is 'more power, more power!' with CPU's and gfx
chips going to new MHz/MBit heights. the computer itself has been really
stuck where it was from around 1985. mouse, keyboard and a GUI. no matter
how these issues are tarted up the machines from mid-80's pretty much look
identical (and in some cases were easier to use - playing a game on an A500
compared to getting same/similar game running on a Win98 PC, for example)

oh well...enough for now..I'm being asked back to my cell..... 8-)
