Some 2.5" drives have no master/slave setting. They are fixed at master
because there's only room for one drive in a laptop. However, your drive
appears to have at least something settable by jumper.

Try the web sites of the drive manufacturers, you should be able to find
technical specs, including the functions of all jumper settings.
