they couldnt - its 'net through the sky'. you send upstream through a modem
(which is minimal data really), you get downstream data via a digital
satellite - around 400kbs for WWW browsing (loads of small files) and 2Mbs
for plain download (eg mp3, lha's from aminet etc). Europe Online are a
provider of this. Check out the Hauppauge DVB PCI WinTV card for this feature.
anyway, yet one more reason to get PCI into the Amiga - *and* the chipsets
on those hauppauge cards are very open...
