Personally, I set up my system according to the web font tutorial on Matt
Sealy's home page, http://www.kittycat.co.uk
I then have my Workbench and screen fonts set to use Arial and my system font to
use AndaleMono. You do need to install ttf fontlibrary to get it to work
though, I use the 040 version which can be found at
http://ftp.uni-paderborn.de/pub/aminet/util/libs/ttflib68040.lha
My cli therefore uses AndaleMono instead of topaz, although I haven't tried
going smaller than 12pt text. Your mileage may vary, but it has to be worth a
try.
