Subject:PFS3 settings

Hi group!

Recently I installed PF3 (version 18.5 of the filesystem) and
was wondering what the most efficient file system block size
setting is. I have set it to 1024, but noticed that file operations
seem slightly slower than before when I was using Smart File System
at the same block size. The PFS docs asy that 1024 is supported,
but don't state if there is actually any advantage in using it.
My Amiga is mainly used for Web browsing and emailing, so there
aren't many gigantic files being accessed regularly.

Also, the identifier for the filesystem is reported by HDToolBox
as 0x50465301 and not 0x50465303 as stated in the docs. It all
seems to work OK however.

Any advice from fellow PFS users would be greatly appreciated.
