Hello Nick,

Bad news mate...

I got Picasso96 from aminet and it does the same as CGX3 :( Although the
system seems to be working as it did when the gfx card was useable - ie:
chip memory diminishes enough to cause the miggy to crash :) If you didn't
know, the card (when working) was very unstable and I had crashes every 5-10
minutes or so (and half of them were forced resets due to the system
freezing while trying to screen-swap between IBrowse and WB (IBrowse using
24bit screen and WB using normal PAL 256 screen). This sounds abit like the
problem we are having now (Although the screen-swap scrashes might've been
the early stages; when it was half-working, and now that nothing comes up on
24bit screen, it's totally dead).

And as for my CV64-3d board - it's a very new one - I only got it this year,
and I'd assume it's a DCE one. It's all surface mount components (but I
suppose anything less than 5 years old would be - actually my 1992 A1200
motherboard also uses them :) I think my CV64-3D board was working (with
the screen-swap crashes, which seemed to get worse and worse, by t he way)
for maybe a monthor two, before it finally decided to kick the bucket.

I tried running enforcer too, on all different occasions and it didn't seem
to help at all! Although one time I ran it after WB was loaded and after
about half an hour of surfing online, while using IBrowse, the whole system
became very very slow.

Regards,
Richard.
