Hello Gary
Thank you for replying

Just done it, I'll wait to see the results of whos who.

Firstly, I've been on here less that a week so if you have mentioned this
before here, I am obviously unawares of it. Secondly I HAVE been paying
attention to YOUR website. In the announcement the deal is described as a
STRATIGIC PARTNERSHIP and Alain Thiffault, product manager, Matrox
Graphics. said in YOUR press release "Amiga has a history of offering a
solid platform and we're happy to provide resources for their future
products.". If I am unaware of any such development partnership, can you
blame me for it? It hasn't been clearly stated has it?

Then stop hinting so much then. Do you blame me for being annoyed at the
relatively weak software list, when we've been told that there are big
developers are 'rejoining the fold'. While we're talking about that could
you elaborate on Mario64 and Final Fantasy 5?
As for the AmigaOne if I give a selection of quotes from Bill's Executive
updates, you may understand why the announcement left some people a little
underwelmed.

I'd rather you spend time on actaully working on an producing the NEW
system, after all Bill has said before that the DE will be compatible with
the "classic" through something better than normal emulation. So why worry
about transition machines?

I've actually been REALLY annoyed with Amiga Inc. all day (which was
actually to my benifit in a strange way that I'll explain later). I've
tried REALLY hard NOT to be rude or aggressive. I feel I have valid
questions, which I have tried my best to ask in a rational way. On ANN I
got answers from Fleecy that were agumentitive and often evaded the point
(perhaps becuase PR isn't his normal area). I feel like Amiga is trying to
make out that I'm trying to upset everyone (which I'm definately not!).
A less than 4 days ago I was working on designs that I was going to send you
for an aspect of the DE. (and I'll finish them and send them to you still
if you want). So it's not like I have anything against Amiga or anything.
But at the weekend with the AmigaOne announcement I began to feel that what
had been in the Exectutive Updates and what has been announced were too
inconsistent, as in big hint, small announcement.
I just had serious questions that I needed to answered that's all. OS3.9
and the share options are great news, and I haven't a bad word to say about
them. It's just The (lack of different) AmigaOne systems and the software
list that I need clarification with, which the mailing list will help with.
Sorry for the long mail everyone, there is a lot I needed to say........
Regards
