I doubt very much you've damaged your AGA chips and turned them into
ECS ones, or likewise. As you mentioned in Early-Startup's gfx. options
'Best Available' appears. If that's there- you have AGA, on an ECS machine
that wouldn't show, and on OCS neither Best Available nor ECS would appear.
Also using ShowConfig in SYS:Tools/ you'll see that it'll report AA Alice or
whatever instead of ECS Denise, which of course no AGA Amiga will probably
ever show (at least if you're not using AmigaUAE on an AGA Amiga to emulate
a ECS/OCS machine ;) for one simple reason:
Denise does not exist on an AGA motherboard! :)
