When I formatted my partitions I used the following:
pfsformat device <what I called the partition when I formed it with HSInstTools> name <the name I wanted it to appear on the wbench as> deldir <the number of entries to hold in the del directory> fns <the numeric length of the filename>
I can't remember off the top of my head what the figures were for the last two suffice to say that I used the figures recommended by Neil Bothwick in a previous mail.
No doubt someone else will respond with a more detailed description, and suggest that I should have done it differently :-), but that worked for me.
