its the quality of the beta-testers you are questioning. almost all beta
testers that I know are very very keen Amiga users... so most of them have
ixemul already installed as part of their system...so the problem of ixemul
not being in the system becomnes transparent.
at the same time, though, the software company should have their own
'virgin' system. very plain, high spec machine with 3 different boot-drives,
one for 2.x, one for 3.0 and one for os3.5 (on 3.1 roms) then try installing
the games and running it on that 'clean spec' system.
some people dont help by not reading the docs for the software they install.
for example, most people with gfx cards have had problems with RTGMaster in
the past since they have not actually set up and decent screenmodes for
their system...and disabled the selecting of 15bit modes too. you should
have in your screenmode settings 8,15,16and 24bit versions of
256x256, 320x200, 320x256, 640x400, 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x1024
