Yep, I got mine this afternoon too, and it was certainly a lot faster
- and fullscreen anims too....however, with the CD read error problem
I still cant play the game. I did get as far as the subway, but the
anim of you getting on/off the train was where I hit a read error, and
no amount of retrying would make the blindest bit of difference.
I still have the sounds cutting out problem too....and a few WarpOS
exception crashes...but then I get that with WipeOut2097 too soits
just WarpOS being a pita.
Looks like my only option is to install all 3 CD's to my HD via
parnet, and assign Q: to the HD. I've never had a CD cause so much
trouble before...even RW and CDR never give me this much hassle unless
it want fixed properly..then all drives bar the writer complain.
