Hi all
I have been thinking quite hard today about the Amigaone. The
Eyetech solution sounds very nice and to be honest I would like one
but and it's a big but (make of that what you will) I don't wish to
go out and sell my parents house to buy one. Now it appears from
Fleecy's posting there will be a stand alone ppc version release Q1 I
wonder how much that will cost?
Over all the announcement was good it just lacked clarity and in
depth information (I think this is a trend of recent announcements)
It would have made sense for Eyetech to have had information on their
website ready for the announcement. O.S3.9/4.0 might be worth it (I
never moved up to OS3.5 as I could not justify the expence of 3.1ROMS
and the 3.5 OS for what amounted to very little differnce between what
I am currantly running in OS3.0.
Anyway the arguments on www.ann.lu have gone way OTT and started to
annoy me so I guess I am doing the same for ppl on this list. This
will be my last email on this matter..... unless I have something
profound to add (not likely ;0)
