That option is there already....you can buy a x86 machine with the recommended
spec at it`ll work...that`s the point of it I guess. You can buy *any* PC now
and run the DE hosted on linux....the final OS will run on a limited hardware
subset natively.
I really don`t see your point as the x86 solution is already a given.
