Which is what the ethernet card and USB ports are for ;) A modem would
make a nice paperweight for me, maybe.

You can just guarantee that even with the specification stating "One
AmigaDE friendly host processor (PPC, x86, Arm, SH4, MIPS)", people are
_still_ going to get upset at the idea of anyone running it on an x86,
even if they can get it running a lot faster and a lot cheaper.

Well, it looks like we've got at least another 8 or 9 months before real
machines appear, so they've still got plenty of time yet. I'm not about to
give up on them just yet.
As for the hardware partners, does that really matter? Ok, so they're
specifying this Matrox card, but apart from that they're nothing else
really specified. So presumably my current PC could happily cope.
