Doesn't sound too good to me either. I mean is THIS the "amazing" new
AmigaOne? I'm sorry but I'd rather run the DE on a x86 system.

Where the hell did 3.9 come from? Hopefully it will be a worthwhile
upgrade.

Yeah, plenty and thier not good. Now that more concrete details of Amigas
plans and stratagies are comming about, I'm beginning to think that they
aren't going to pull off anything.
Where are the major companies, the support, the big time partners? I'm
sorry, but a nice as Eyetech are, and despite the fact they alongside the
other few that have kept amiga going during and since Gateway, they aren't
really the hardware partners that are going to set the world alight. There
have been announcements time and time again of exciting new major partners,
but as yet none have materialised. Just Matrox.
And for a software company they don't have a very good line up. All these
"major software firms" don't seem to have produced anything. the software
list comprises of ports of classic amiga software (hardly groundbreaking)
and the odd year old game ported. While I admire bedroom programmers and
small software firms, they just don't have the clout to break a new system
into the market.
And for a system perfect for the internet, where the hell is the browser?
Tao has something that could revolutionise the whole computer industry, but
at the moment (as far as current announcements go) it doesn't look as
though it will be Amiga leading that revolution.
