http://www.amiga.com/products/one/pr.shtml is a strange thing to read. The
"zico" specification for the AmigaOne seems interesting. Why CD/DVD
though? Shouldn't it be insisting on DVD these days? Why is a modem part
of the specification?
And Eyetech making a PPC based board to bolt on to existing 1200/4000s in
1Q01, with standalone machines coming 6 months later? Not quite so happy
with that idea. Still, hopefully someone can manage something else quickly
enough.
Oh, and some stuff about OS3.9/4.0.
All seems fairly disappointing to me. Had enough stuff hacked onto
"classic" Amigas already, and is a PPC AmigaOne going to be that
impressive?
Thoughts anyone?
And yes, I'm just trying to stir up some discussion on this one ;) Don't
flame too much.
