Hiya,
I have a realtek nic I bought for $8 at a local computer show, and it
works fine. When you install the Mediator software, it provides a
whole big list of chipsets that you can use with the included NIC
driver.
Also, I have a Winbond controlled NIC that I haven't been able to get
to work yet (a Linksys lnepci II). Ive had trouble getting it to
work under Windows too though, so I think that particular NIC might
just be crappy though.
