ohh, that dont really tell you anything about the card does it! :-/ right
well.... the box it came in said mr.modem on the side of it (it is a
ethernet card) and it cost me about 11quid iirc. It is just a normal PCI
network card from what I can tell so I assume most of em are based on a
standard of somesort?
As for getting it working.... well not as yet :-/ I had a Ateo Setup with a
ISA ethernet card in that, so I put the ISA card in my PC hoping to use
that, unfortunately the PC aint recognising the ISA card atm, so I think I
will purchase another PCI card later today :-)
as far as the software side of things goes..... well Genesis wizard does
exactly the same as it did when I was trying to get my Ateo ethernet card to
work (which I never did btw), it gets past the device driver bit and then
probes the card for info on the network afaik, but it fails and just goes
round and round in circles :-/ if anyone can tell me how to stop it doing
this let me know PLEASE!!! :-)
MiamiDX (well, the demo I tried) seemed to work faultlessly with it and went
through all the DNS numbers and everything, but like I say atm I dont have
the network up and running because of the lack of a (working) network card
in the PC.
Hope that was of some use somewhere :-)
(although it is semi confusing!)
