I get this problem too. They are unrelated in my case. I find that it is the
fault of the connection between the BVision card and the cable. When I adjust
the cable I find I can fix the problem.

Finding a way of improving the connection is what I think would be the best
solution. Does anyone have any tips on improving the electrical conductivity
of a connector?
