No, and no. And also, yes and yes.

No, there isnt any fix. But yes there might be one.

No, its not heat related. But yes it is.

Its probably due to the connector expanding after you have used or havent
used the machine for a while.

A possible fix might be to bend the connectors inwards, but do you really
want to do that, if all you have to do is reboot the machine?

It only takes 30 seconds! :)

Just run PFS3 and check the bootlogo upon booting, if it comes up
corrupted, reboot immediately.

The ZX Spectrum had the same problem, iirc :)
