i don't think that's the problem: the simm allways worked fine in my 1230IV,
and i don't think
faulty memory would give me 'line 111 emulator error's (besides: when i fill
my ramdisk i don't
get any errors)
come to think of it, my '040 always had FPU probs. It would crash when (at
bootup) it installed oxypatcher
from wbstartup. After that i'd get a guru everytime i did a reset. is my 68040
fried or what?

yep, it's looking good. but if you think about it: Frontier on my 040 goes
faster
and looks (in some ways that is) better and there's much more to do then
simply
flying around... I'll just keep playing frontier until Elite3 gets ported.
