Hmmm... I did a complete new install on a fresh new drive,
leaving my old drive totally untouched.

1. Format boot partition of drive in FFS using HDtoolbox from
my 3.1 floppy.

2. Install WB3.1 from my floppies.

3. Install the 2060 specific bits and pieces (copied across
from old HD)

4. Add SCSItools, ASIMCDFS and current Picasso96 (copied
across from old HD)

5. Reboot and mount CD.

6. Install 3.5 etc from CD (but not P96)

7. Re-Install the 2060 specific bits and pieces

8. Install Boingbag1 (but not P96)

9. Re-Install the 2060 specific bits and pieces

10. Use new HDtoolbox to install new FFS and make other
partitions on the drive, up to total 8.56G
dh350: boot 512M
dh351: data 512M
dh352: data 1G
dh353: data 2G
dh354: data 512M
dh355: data 2G
dh356: data 2G

10. copy almost all of dh0: across to dh350: (half a day with
sorting and versioning!)

11. copy all of dh0data: across to dh351: (a few minutes)

_So_far_ it has all worked. I am using 2060scsi.device. It
seemed to save data to dh354: without writing over dh350:
;^)

I am keeping dh0: alive as alternative boot until I am happy
with the system. I am not so keen on the new type icons.

68040.library problems?

What is being patched? Are the 2060 tools in the right
places?

Which P96 are you using? Not the one off 3.5 CD? (Out of
date rtg.library)

I still am not fully up to speed on 3.5 so I may yet find
some problems, hence a clean 3.1 drive ;^)

My system:
Bliz2060 2M + 88M, Fujitsu 1.2G OS3.1, Barracuda 9.2G OS3.5,
A2286, PIV P96. External Pioneer 24x, Umax 610, etc.

I've not yet tried to run the A2286 from OS3.5.

Kind Regards
