Very poor, not worth using.
There are maney better free news servers out there is you have to connect using bt
(else other free isps offer much better news servers, but it varies a lot)
Or as I've decided, as net access costs go down why not actually pay for a news server!
It really is worth it is you use news a lot. I use supernews (www.supernews.com) and
have had no problem with it, well except the last couple of days where it seems to be
missing from the dns servers! Oh well hope it's back soon, or does anyone know the ip?
