Thanks for replying to my query regarding hard drives and
HDToolbox, but I have tried to setpatch skipromupdates "scsi.device" while
attempting to clear other problems from upgrading my A1200 to OS 3.5, all
that happened was that I was totally unable to boot. Must be a problem with
my motherboard, revision 1d4, or an unique problem of OS 3.5.
By the way Neil sorry if my original remarks upset you ;) I was
just trying to keep in with the spirits of the group. Being forced to use my
PC to access the internet, I was mildly surprised to find Outlook Express
urging me to download the Japanese character set to read my mail, due to
garbled characters at the top of digest from egroups. :)
