I did something different with dates in REBOL, so I know that there are
formulae around to do very specific things with them. Check out Dr. Math
(http://forum.swarthmore.edu/dr.math/). It worked for me.

You might want to look at the code of FWCalendar.lha, in the Aminet. The
author might be willing to help you along, too.
