You can do that already

address command 'sys:prefs/palette PukeyColours load' :)

For example, there's a full set of window manipulation commands. I've
seen a script that closes all but the active window. When you1've opened
half a dozen directory windows to find the one you want, being able to
dispose of the baggage with a single keypress is quite useful.

And I'll leave you to work out what iconsorter.rexx does :)
