Use a storage unit that holds bare CDs, it takes up far less space.

Except the pile doesn't fall over.
The other disadvantage of jewel cases is that they can tear the
magazine cover.
I know, instead of giving away Fusion with each subscription, you can
have a dozen jewel cases instead :)
